Auglink was about to grow from a local internet service provider to 'The Communications Company You Can Talk To' offering St. Johns county local and long distance phone service. A clean sophisticated corporate look was in order that spoke to the community they had served since 1995. It needed to represent who Auglink was about to become. My inspiration, the slogan of course. In mulling this over the lightning bolt of inspiration struck, a phone receiver. What better way to re-enforce the slogan than with a recognizable and appropriate icon. The part of the phone we actually listen through.
